Inese Markovska is a multidisciplinary artist born in Liepaja, Latvia, and based in Manchester, UK. She is currently in the final year of her BA in Contemporary Art at the University of Huddersfield, building on a creative foundation established at the Liepaja Art and Design School, where she specialised in ceramics design. Her practice explores identity, memory, and landscape through nature‑connected materials, working across abstract watercolours, hand‑built clay forms, imprint casts, sculpture, photography, and digital processes. Inspired by the fragile beauty of the natural world, Inese uses intuitive, process‑driven experimentation to investigate emotion and the evolving patterns of her artistic journey. Each piece unfolds organically through touch, colour, and material exploration, embracing both experimentation and the unexpected.
